The semi-improvisational collaborative live set by Cycle Hiccups and saa1099 from music-and-choreographic performance “Number of Pas”.

The performance consisted of two elements: the first was modern choreography—​a contact improvisation performed by two Finnish dancers; the second was music—​the semi-improvisational live set by two musicants from Petrozavodsk, Russia.

The first component was realised by Sami Henrik Haapala and Otto Akkanen from Helsinki. The second one—​which is presented hereafter as the audio recording—was made by 56 STUFF member Cycle Hiccups (music sketches + Macbook, MIDI keyboard and Monome 64) and Alexander Fartushny aka saa1099 (Akai Ewi, Kaoss Pad, Vaio).
