| In August of 2004 a dancer Ephia, an experimental musician Jeff Gburek and a video artist Ben Walsh performed together in a collaborative art project at a specific location, an abandoned medical center for physically and mentally challenged people. Photograph Ekaterina Yushmanova was also there and via photography she brought the atmosphere and the spirit of ever-isolated gloomy place.

Ekaterina Yushmanova
She started making photos incidentally, and later chucked up this activity for a time. However, later Ekaterina returned to photography, found her style and reached the level of personal exhibitions and regular publications. She works slowly but staunchly and prefers to film people.
